We love the response we got on the first installment of this series, those were some songs VERY close to our heart and we are mighty proud of our talent.
That being said, let’s move on to Part 2— The Bollywood ka Chaska! Now many of us don’t admit our addiction to these songs but we ALL know deep down inside that they form a big part of our childhood and teens. While some are classics, others provided for the cheap entertainment amongst friends. Without further ado, here goes:
1.Pehla Nasha, Jo Jeeta Woh Sikander
A romantic favourite of the teens in the 80s! Amir Khan was a heart throb back then!
2.Dheere Dheere, Aashiqui
This one even has a remake now (Gosh, we are old!) But, I think the original remains our favourite!
3. Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaun, Yes Boss
Shahrukh Khan gave us some of the most memorable hits in that era! We loved this hers and Juhi’s chemistry, it gave us the cute vibes! 😉
4. O O Jaane Jaana, Pyar Kia tau Darna Kia
Was this when Salman Khan’s shirtless-ness started? How much has he changed :O !!
5. Churake Dil Mera, Mein Khiladi Tu Anari
Akshay Kumar, our khiladi since the beginning of time gave us major #dancinggoals 😉 while Shilpa Shetty was a fashion icon!
6.Maine Payal hai Chankayi, Falguni Pathak
Hoe many of you remember this lady? Wasn’t she just awesome? MTV used to play her songs all the time and we loved almost all her singles!
7. Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hai, Lucky Ali
Lucky Ali gave us some wonderful melodies that are still popular!
8. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, Baazigar
9. Ek Pal ka Jeena, Kaho Na Pyar Hai
In came Hrithik and everyone was blown by his dance moves! There’s a long list of amazing songs from his early mvoies like Fiza and Yaadein!
10. Chaiyya Chaiyya, Dil Se
Okay this list will NEVER end if we continue to add the King Khan’s songs but they are so awesome that we CANNOT help itttttttt!!
11. Tadap Tadap, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
Breakup song of the Century- hands down!
12. Akhiyon se Goli Maare, Dulhe Raja
Govinda and his crazy songs, lyrics and dace moves! How many of his songs and movies do you remember?
13. Tum Dil ki Dhadkan, Dhadkan
And Suniel Shetty guys…. remember when we all wondered who made him a lead actor? Have you seen him lately?
