This season The Blush Works is kicking off, what we’re calling, Operation Happiness!
We have some positivtity homework for you. Small actions leave a lasting impact, here are simple ways you can spread happiness:
1. Head over to a Café
Research shows that cafes are the best places to reduce stress. So head down to your nearest cafe and order your favourite drink, if you’re lucky you might catch a comedy night or an open mic 🎤 session.
2. Scribble Down a Secret Note
This literally just requires a pen and paper. Yes there are text messages, but there’s nothing more beautiful than writing your loved one a secret note and hiding it in their bag or pocket. Tell them they’re awesome! This will definitely put a smile on their face.
3. As Amy Shcumer said
Even on my worst day, when I’m feeling awful, I smile and say “You’re doing the best you can. Good job B*tch!”
4. Buy someone Needy Food
Buy someone needy food and see how it’ll lighten up their face. It’s a win win situation! They smile, you smile!
5. Donate, Donate, Donate
Clearing out your closet will also clear your mind. Do you really need that dress you wore 10 years ago? Give it to someone who would appreciate it. #stophoarding
6. Pen Down What You’re Grateful For
Make a record if things you’re grateful for every day. It can something as small as talking to your mother or getting the last piece of cake!
