WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO GET INTO MAKEUP & BEAUTY?
I am probably the youngest person to have achieved the professional status, and recognition that I have in Pakistan, which is a testament to my passion which grew from having a captivation for colours, and fashion. It made me pursue training, and eventually secure my first job in what was then a new industry of private television channels, commercials, music, and fashion. With consistency, and much hardwork, I am pleased to say that it was the best choice that I made; with no regrets.
WHAT INSPIRES BEENISH?
In addition to the natural beauty around me, and the positive-vibes from the people I meet. Access to the world, and its infinite glory has become much easier, as we literally walk around with the world in our hand (internet in our phones), I’d say my inspiration is also drawn from browsing what’s out there, which takes me to new frontiers, and unfolds wonders; fueling my imagination.
For skin, it is certainly sunblock, for hair it is conditioner, and for that quick sexy pout, always carry a lipstick.
ONE BEAUTY SECRET YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE?
Look after your skin! Keep your skin hydrated, by drinking the recommended daily quantity of water for your age and also keep your skin structurally strong, by including regular portions of fruits, and vegetables in your diet.
If you have the passion, and are ready for the commitment, then before you make any financial investment, the most important step to becoming a stylist, and makeup artist, is to acquire certified training. Then, my advice is invest, but also be ready to be patient, and do not be scared of experimenting, and exploring your creativity. Last but not least, ensure hygiene, and cleanliness of your work place, instruments, sponges, and brushes. Maintain a healthy environment for yourself, your staff, and your clients. It may take some time, but consistency will ensure your share of success.
