In present era, so much is happening in Bollywood at once, that it has become more challenging to make a space for yourself and that too, a prominent one. For over a decade the most happening names that have always kept the audiences awestruck can be counted off on fingers. Because it takes a special charisma, talent and a bit of good luck to be at the right place at the right time.
One of those ladies who have finally made it to the golden list is the daring yet sophisticated Kangana Ranaut. The girl having delicate features yet an aura of fierceness is very hard to ignore at a first glance. Sporting her natural curls and that confident yet composed smile, she is bound to make you fall in love with her.
Beginning her career with a super hit movie “Gangster“, she bagged various awards for best debut and has been unstoppable since then. Being new to the industry Kangana had to go through a lot to be where she stands today, firm and confident. Despite having no support from home or a strong back in industry, she made her way through all the hurdles, shutting up the mouths of those who predicted that she is a big failure and set such standards for herself, that any female actress could have only dreamt of. As quoted by her
“Nobody was my support. You have to support yourself and I think that is the beauty of being a woman”.
Her acting carrier was not always at its best as one would assume. She gave various flop movies as well but that does not affect her much as a persona. She always was THE KANGANA RANAUT that had set high standards for herself and was not willing to compromise. But this little description is not sufficient to summarize her journey from “Gangster” to “Queen” that also won he many awards.
In her recent interview in “Koffee with Karan” she created quite a stir when she said that she didn’t want to work with the Khans because she is not willing to compromise on her having a lesser role as compared to them as she said,
“When I wanted work, nobody was ready to work with me and now that i am my own hero on the sets, why should I work with other hero.”
Besides being an over powering actress, Kangana has also become an ambassador of women empowerment. Having an acid attack victim in her own home which is her sister, Kangana supported her and became the voice of all ladies suffering any kind of abuse.
Another bold step by Kangana that deserves appreciation was her refusal to endorse any fairness cream brand despite being offered a handsome amount. She straightway rejected it saying, “Ever since I was a kid, I have never understood the concept of fairness. Especially, in such a case, as a celebrity, what kind of an example would I be setting for younger people? I have no regrets about turning this offer down. As a public figure, I have responsibilities.”
Kangana plans to write an autobiography in which she will reveal more about herself as she is not much of a media person and prefers not to talk much about her personal life. Her fans and critiques are very much waiting for that to happen so that they can know more about the phenomena that has occurred in the form of Kangana. We wish her all the best for her future endeavours!

I had a knack for writing for as long as I can remember but then, life happened and I got lost it figuring it out. Yep, that’s how consuming it is. But then, that’s the fun part. Be consumed and fill others with love, hope and happiness. One thing that I have learnt in life is, keep struggling to achieve your goals. Because the day you give up is the day life stops happening to you. And that’s where it starts getting boring.
